ARClip Design. Now on your desktop.
A window of its own instead of a browser tab. Projects side by side, as in Figma. One sign-in. Updates on their own. Mac, Windows and Linux.
Install the package: sudo apt install ./file.deb or sudo dnf install ./file.rpm. Or make the AppImage executable and run it.
Tabs, like Figma
Every project in one window. Quit the app — your tabs will wait.
Recent, one click away
From the File menu, the Dock or the Windows jump list.
Links open in the app
A project link opens straight into its tab. Everything else goes to your browser.
Always up to date
Updates download in the background and install on restart. Nothing to click.
v0.1.1
Latest- Cmd/Ctrl+A in the editor selects every object of the scene, as it does in the browser. In a text field it still selects the text.

First release of arclip.design for the desktop: the cabinet and the editor in an app of their own.
- macOS (one app for Apple Silicon and Intel, signed and notarized), Windows (x64 and ARM64) and Linux (AppImage, .deb and .rpm, x64 and ARM64).
- Projects in tabs, as in Figma: Home is the cabinet, each project opens in a tab of its own, and the tabs come back after a restart. Ctrl+Tab and Cmd/Ctrl+1…9 switch them, Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+T reopens the last one closed.
- The editor's commands in the menu: undo and redo, cut, copy and paste, duplicate, arrange, show/hide, lock, flip.
- A notification when someone replies in your comment thread or mentions you while the project is out of sight.
- A project's scripts and UI cards synced with a folder on disk, both ways — the
arclipCLI works in it too. - A project as an app for the App Store and Google Play (File menu, or Publish → App Store and Google Play): Xcode and Android Studio projects in a folder on disk, signed with the team you are signed in to Xcode with.
arclip://links open projects in the app; the cabinet can send projects there too. Sign in with Google through the system browser.- Updates itself in the background and installs them on the next start.

Where it runs
macOS 12 or later on Apple Silicon and Intel — one app for both. Windows 10 and 11 on x64 and ARM64. 64-bit Linux on x64 and ARM64: AppImage, .deb for Debian and Ubuntu, .rpm for Fedora and openSUSE.
If your system warns you
The Mac app is signed by AR STUDIO, LLC and notarized by Apple. Windows signing is on its way: until then SmartScreen may ask about the publisher — choose More info → Run anyway. Every file’s SHA-256 is in the list above.
